Yes, I mean to go to as many balls as possible, that I may have a good bargain.”

Can there ever be too much dancing?  We think not and in an effort to provide every advantage to Netherfield Ball attendees, the North Texas Traditional Dance Society has invited those interested to their monthly English Country dance sessions.    All prospective Ball attendees are strongly encouraged to attend as many dance sessions as possible before the 2015 Ball to assure the greatest dancing pleasure.

Sessions are 8:00-11:00 p.m. with an early bird dance lesson at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is $9.00 per participant.  Location is First United Lutheran Church, 6202 Mockingbird Lane (east of Central Expressway).

Upcoming dance session:

Saturday – May 24th

For your comfort, safety and enjoyment, only dance shoes or flat shoes will be allowed at the Netherfield Ball. Please wear shoes that allow you to turn easily on a wooden floor, but are not too slippery.
Leather soles work well, as can suede, walking shoes, jazz shoes, and Oxford-style shoes.

You are also welcome to bring more than one pair to test on the floor at the event.

We appreciate your compliance for your enjoyment and safety as well as in consideration of our host venue.
